السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته، احسن الله اليكم وغفرالله ولاهلك Ustadh, whenever I travel to my home country for vacations, I shorten my prayers while i'm travelling, but I pray them full when I reach our residence in my home country (it's my fathers residence). Is this correct?

If you are living in another country as that this new country is your main residencey home then u can make qasr even in your home country not just at the journey.
