السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته حياكم الله احسن الله اليكم I am going to travel somewhere and stay there for a fixed time (5 days). Can I combine and shortern my prayers the whole time while staying there? Or am I counted as a temporary resident? جزاكم الله خيرا وبارك الله فيكم

You remain a traveller for the whole stay and you shorten, as is the view of Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah and Imam Ibn Uthaymin, but since you are staying in one place it is better not to combine, though combining is allowed.
