السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته May Allah bless you. What should a traveller do when he hears the Adhan. Can he pray it in the Hotel and shorten it or should he respond to the Adhan and pray in Congregation

Imam Ibn Baz said: "If he is alone, then yes, he is required (to pray). But if they are in a group, then they have the choice: if they wish, they may pray on their own and shorten the prayer; and if they wish, they may join the congregation and pray it in full (four units)."
