Ahsanallahu ilaykum Ustadh, is it permissible for me to wear the crest of a football team or an edited version of the crest and use it for my own team as long as the crest doesn't contain anything impermissible (haram sponsers, crosses, images, etc.)?

If the crest carries no religious symbol and no picture or name glorifying a disbeliever, the Permanent Committee classed emblems like that as ordinary trademarks and said there is no harm in them.
