السلام عليكم ورحمة الله We live in a kafir country. My mother travels tomorrow with my sisters to her home country, by plane and taxi. Am i obligated to accompany her on this travel? I will lose work holidays and money just to fly there and back the next day. She intends to go regardless of me.

If you can go without real harm to yourself then going is better and it is from birr, and if it genuinely harms you then it does not bind you.
