السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته ya ustadh ive made hijrah to misr from the west and ive seen people in the masajid offer 2 rakat after the adhan. ive never seen any one do this before ive come to egypt. is this a biddah or a sunnah ive never heard of?

No, this is a Sunnah. The Messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم) told us to pray between the Adhan and the Iqamah.
