السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته Ustadh, is it Sunnah to place a Sutrah in front of you when praying, and if so, what is the Sunnah length for it?

Ustadh AbdulAziz al-Haqqan
Imam Ibn Baz (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “The Sunnah for a believing man or woman is to place a sutrah in front of them, such as a wall, a pillar, a chair, or anything similar that has a standing form. The minimum is something like the back part of a saddle. The scholars said: this is approximately the length of a forearm, or two-thirds of a forearm. If the standing sutrah is about two-thirds of a forearm or close to that, it is sufficient if possible. If that is not possible, then he should pray even towards a stick laid on the ground, or draw a line, as in the hadith of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet ﷺ said: ‘When one of you prays, let him place something in front of him. If he cannot find anything, let him set up a stick. If he cannot find that, then let him draw a line, and it will not harm him whoever passes in front of him.’”
