I live in the west (I hate it). My work is planning a staff meeting, then a lunch on Dec. 11. Not everyone is Christian, I’m not sure if it’s a Christmas/holiday lunch. Can I go to the meeting, and if the lunch after turns out to be a Christmas lunch, tell them I won’t join due to religious reasons?
