I heard a trusted shaykh say: if a person refrains from enjoining good and forbidding evil or leaving a wajib out of fear of a person then this is minor shirk. I don’t forbid evil or enjoin good towards the old/father or people not interested in deen bc of their fear, have I committed minor shirk?
