Assalamu alaykum Ustadh. If I create a halal T-shirt design and earn royalties from its sales, but the company markets it using music without my involvement or control, is my income halal? And is working for such a company permissible?

Your income is lawful and the work is permissible. The advertising is their doing and not yours, and a person is not held responsible for what he neither controls nor takes part in.
