السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته ustadh, I have a question about paying in terms. Example: if i decide to buy a laptop is it permissible to pay for it in terms. With the condition that price is known and there is no riba بارك الله فيك.

If the seller genuinely owns the laptop and sells it to you in instalments, it is allowed even if the instalment price is higher than the cash price, as long as the total and the instalments are known and fixed at the contract and nothing is added afterwards for late payment.
