السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته HayākAllāh Ustādh I hope you are in good health and all is well now, may Allah preserve and bless you. How can we as men understand women so that we can be better to our womenfolk?

The Prophet ﷺ gave us the foundation: استوصوا بالنساء خيرا (agreed upon). Imam Ibn Baz explained it: treat them with kindness, do not wrong them, give them their rights, and correct shortcomings with gentleness and patience, not harshness, for they were created from a rib, and if you insist on forcing it straight you break it. And the Prophet ﷺ said that a believing man must not hate a believing woman, if he dislikes one trait in her he is pleased with another (Muslim). So do not demand perfection, overlook what is small, and pair your advice with a good word.
