Assalamu Alaikum Shk, I wanted to know about recurring events such as birthdays, anniversaries, Mother’s Day etc if these should not be celebrated, and what are the Hadith on these. My family heavily celebrates these occasions and I do not feel comfortable participating for which they get upset

This is forbidden as we do not have Eids in Islam other than our Eids and this is the fatwa of all the major scholars you can easily find them and Allah knows best.
