السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته Dear Ustadh, do you consider us to be your students? Can we call ourselves a student of Ustadh Abdul Aziz Al Haqqan? Further, upon/if passing the Ijazah exam, does a student have your permission to teach what he has learnt from you? احسن الله إليكم

Yes, I consider you to be my students, especially those who join the live sessions and interact with me. In regards to taking the Ijazah: 1. Public Teaching If you finish all of Level 1 and want to teach publicly, I do not allow this. To teach publicly, I have to know a brother very well; he must be a student of mine for years so that I can know his level, character, and personality before providing authorization. Allowing someone automatically like this can never be the case. 2. Private Teaching If you mean teaching what you are sure of to those close to you, such as your family and so on, then this is allowed, inshaAllah. This is on the condition that you say "Allah knows best" regarding things you do not know. Everyone should do so, and anyone can teach what they have learned once they have studied it, inshaAllah.
