السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته احسن الله إليكم There is a hadith that states [meaning] "and He (Allah) is witr and loves the witr". Does that mean we should try to make our adhkar end on an odd number for example? Or is this about witr prayer? Or what does this hadith mean?

Allah is Witr, meaning One without partner, and He loves the odd, so much of what He legislated is odd: the witr prayer, seven circuits of tawaf, and istijmar. Shaykh Ibn Uthaymin said the command to pray witr in the hadith is about the night prayer. Imam Ibn Baz said odd is preferred except where the Shariah set an even number, and that unrestricted dhikr has no fixed count.
