Ahsan Allahu ilaykum If I write my notes directly on a copy of a matn, there isn't enough space to write down everything. Should I write only what's directly related to the matn itself and put the rest in a notebook for general benefits?

Write everything u want and if u don't have enough space u can write in a paper or so.
