My father appointed someone to pay zakat al fitr, and gave the money around a week before Eid, at that time we didn't know the 2 day limit before Eid ruling, the thing is we don't know which date the person distributed the food, but it may have been before 4-5 days before Eid. What should we do now?

The Ulema mentioned that this becomes a Sadaqah and it is not Zakat al-Fitr, and it should be done at its time. Therefore, you still have to pay it. However, make sure that he didn't pay it four or five days before Eid al-Fitr. Maybe he paid it two days before Eid al-Fitr, and this is allowed insha'Allah.
