‏اَلسَلامُ عَلَيْكُم وَرَحْمَةُ اَللهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ‎ I usually pray 2 rakah Tahiyatul masjid before sitting. Is there any time I should not. Can I sit if the time is less for iqama and I am sure I will not be able to complete before the prayer starts.

If there is no time and he sat, it is not a problem in sha'a Allah.
