As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh, Allah commands us not to even say “uff” to our parents. Does this ruling apply only when they are present and able to hear us, or does it also apply when they are not present and cannot hear us? Jazakallahu ghaiyran
