السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته If one were to go to jummua prayer in a ashari masjid or sururi masjid is it still fardh to listen to the khutbah? Or can one read quran or do something else while the khatib ist speaking? Jazajallahu khairan

It is obligatory to listen to the khutbah, but why don't u look for another masjid?
