Aḥsanallāhu ilaykum. A brother has started practicing and no longer wants to keep his dog. What should he do? If he cannot find someone who will use it for guarding livestock, crops, or hunting, is it permissible to gift it to someone who will keep it solely as a pet? Jazākum Allāhu khayran.
