السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته ، أحسن الله إليك At school/work we pray in congregation as soon as the time enters. During Dhuhr, I want to pray the 4 Sunnah before the fard, but others start the jama‘ah right away. What’s better — to join the congregation immediately or pray the Sunnah first?

Try if u can do both to the best of your ability. And if u pray sunnah then there are people u pray with in jama'ah then do so as this is not the masjid's congregation.
