Assalaamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatu, A non muslim asked me why Muhammad peace be upon him was always in fear of Allah even though he was promised salvation. How should I respond to this? JazakAllahu khairun.

As this is a true status of the worshipper of Allah and as in the hadeeth that even the Prophet doesnt enter into jannah because of his actions, rather by the mercy of Allah
