السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته I want to buy Umdatul Ahkam & Arab'een an Nawawi to memorise, you said they're good to start with. I want a recommendation if i should buy it with Sharh or not and whos Sharh? Because surely youd rather just buy a sharh over one non Sharh then a sharh afterwards?

You can buy with sharh sure, like ibn uthaymeens for the 40 nawawi, and tayseer al allam for the umdah. And if your want to memorize bahjat qulub al abrar before the umdah it is good as well.
