Ahsan Allahu ilaikum. I recently told my wali about a profile and he doesn't want me to focus about marriage for few years until I complete my education. I can keep trying to convince him to accept the profile but it's pressuring them. Should I just obey them and avoid looking for few years?

A father should not turn away a suitable suitor whom his daughter accepts, nor delay her marriage for her studies, as Imam Ibn Baz said. Keep trying to convince him with gentle words and through someone he listens to. If he still refuses, Imam Ibn Baz said the choice is yours: be patient until Allah opens a way, or take the matter to the judge.
