Assalamu alaikum ustadh, can we eat non halal chicken/beef in a non muslim country (christian/jewish)? what if they also serve pork and alcohol in their menu along with these? can we eat and drink in restaurants where pork and alcohol is served along with other halal items?

Meat slaughtered by Christians or Jews is halal unless you know it was killed by stunning, strangling or the like, and buying from those known to slaughter properly is safer. As for restaurants that serve pork and alcohol, do not eat there.
