Asalamualikum sheikh each month we take out some sadaqah, can we give that sadaqah for construction of a masjid? Will it count?

Yes, building a masjid is from the best deeds as long as it is voluntary sadaqah and not zakah, and choose a masjid that is trustworthy and upon the Sunnah.
