Is studying medicine in university in the UK permissible? I would like to become a doctor however this involves free mixing and touching the opposite gender (although with gloves on)

Imam Ibn Baz and Imam Ibn Uthaymin said studying where there is free mixing is not allowed and that one should look for another way to study, because protecting your religion comes before benefiting people.
