as selamun aleykum akhi may allah bless you if i may ask a question is someone sinful and in delusion if he abandons treatment in his country and goes to the Kaʿbah to make dua there for allah to cures his illnes because maybe they will detain him at the hospital for his illness

Seeking treatment does not contradict reliance on Allah, and Imam Ibn Baz said that abandoning the means altogether goes against the Sharīʿah and reason, so the duʿā at the Kaʿbah is made alongside treatment, not in place of it. Imam Ibn Baz held treatment to be recommended, while Shaykh Ibn Uthaymin and Shaykh al-Albani held it becomes obligatory when its benefit is likely and leaving it risks death.
