A sister suffers from constant fitna with in-laws (his parents + siblings). They live in different countries. Minimizing contact does not work. Giving Naseeha is a big no-go. It has affected her mental health and imaan a lot. What should the sister and her husband do? Or is a consultation better?

Ustadh AbdulAziz al-Haqqan
The husband should be wise and give her her own place where she has her privacy, separate from them. He knows his situation best in terms of how to avoid, or at the very least minimize, a lot of these bad situations. A few ways to manage this: • Rent a place that is far away so they are not able to visit as often. • Give them excuses (without lying, of course) such as being busy or out of the house. • Try to diplomatically minimize these problems in a wise way that does not cause further issues.
