Is mathematics from philosophy and is ilm al kalam a synonymous term for philosophy or is it a branch of it and is philosophy in its whole a bidah and waste of time and disliked?

Mathematics is not philosophy. Philosophy, and what is similar to philosophy, is علم الكلام.
