Begin with praise of Allah and salah upon the Prophet ﷺ, then ask with certainty and a present heart, raise your hands, and press your request without hastening for the answer. Seek the times it is closest to being answered, the last third of the night, between the adhan and the iqamah, in sujud, and before the taslim, and watch your earnings, for unlawful earnings are among the greatest barriers.
