Our khateeb said we shouldn't speak about the deen without knowledge. I agree, but his examples were beginner students who call things haram everywhere they see and raise matters like the beard and isbaal. Should a student who has studied them stay quiet? Where's the line? JazakAllahu khayran.

What is plain and known in the religion by necessity is spoken on by the scholar and by other than him, and what needs knowledge and needs detail is left to the people of knowledge, so a student who has actually studied the beard and isbaal and conveys those rulings is not speaking without knowledge. Even a lay man who brings the hadeeths regarding them has a point and should be encouraged for following the sunnah and if he made a mistake we correct it gently.
