I saw a salafi brother online who said that the ruling that whoever calls his brother a kaafir and he isn’t it returns to him, the brother online said scholars have said minor kufr returns to the person not major. is this correct?

Imam Ibn Baz said this hadith is a severe warning against the one who says it and it does not mean he has fallen into major kufr, though it is among the gravest of sins.
