السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته أحسن الله إليك استاذ Which is the good condensed tafsir of Qur’an? Not just commentary but word meanings, points to reflect etc, basically essence of each page. Is there something like that? Is tadbur wa Amal version that’s widely available good?

Take Tafsir al-Sadi, Imam Ibn Uthaymin recommended it for the beginner because it is clear and without affectation, Imam Ibn Baz called it beneficial for the general people, and it gives you the meanings of the words together with the benefits drawn from the ayat.
