Previous question about pressure from my non-Muslim parents to work while I want to dedicate time to seeking Islamic knowledge: I forgot to mention that I am a woman. They pressure me toward jobs involving free-mixing and immodest uniforms, and reject halal alternatives because the pay is lower.

There is no obedience to a creation in disobedience to the Creator, so you do not take work that places you in free mixing or in a uniform that uncovers what Allah ordered covered, however much they press. Refuse that one thing, stay gentle and dutiful with them in everything else, and take the halal work even if the pay is lower, for whoever leaves a thing for Allah, Allah replaces it with better.
