السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته شيخنا أحسن الله إليكم Is it permissible to have a blood test by a female tech (gloved, minimal contact) if a male tech is 20-30 min away, while a female one is only 3 min away? I can't drive due to illness and don't want to burden my mother if closer is allowed.

May Allah cure you, ameen. If you can take a cab or let your mother drive you or so without causing any problems, then do so.
