The shifāʾ (cure) is in the Qurʾān itself, which is the Arabic that was revealed, and a translation is tafsīr so it does not take the ruling of Qurʾān. Reading the meanings in English still benefits your heart through the admonition and understanding, and the scholars said understanding the meanings is necessary, but recite the Arabic for the shifāʾ.
