Alhamidulillah I live a healthy, active and busy lifestyle. However 4 months ago idk how and why but I started overeating. I eat a total of 4000 calories a day now this happens about 3-4x a week. I know it’s haram(hadiths). This has harmed my health. Yet I still overeat but I don’t want to. advice?

Allah Jalla wa Ala (the Majestic and Exalted) says, the meaning of which is, and eat and drink but do not be excessive, indeed He does not love those who are excessive (al-Araf 31). Cut off what leads to it, keep righteous company, seek out help from a specialist, and do not despair. I also advise that you do not eat outside of your meals which will help you decrease how much food you eat.
