Assalāmu’alaikum. Could you please clarify the ruling on eating sauces that contain vinegars such as white wine vinegar or spirit vinegar. Is it halal to eat them? What if we don’t know how they were manufactured/don’t know other variables, just that it is a sauce with these vinegars. Please clarify

Many of these names carry no wine at all, and wine that turned to vinegar by itself is allowed, while wine that people deliberately turned into vinegar has two views among the people of knowledge, and if alcohol is added to the vinegar it is forbidden by that even if it is little, as Imam Ibn Baz said.
