Assalamualaykum Is wearing kohl a sunnah? Potential revert niqabi spouse wears kohl outside the house. Is this allowed? Is there any difference of opinion? If it’s not allowed, how should I bring it up to her that this is something I wouldn’t want my future wife to do? JazakAllah Khair

No it is not allowed, as this is an adornment not the medicine kohl they used back in the day for both men and women called ithmid. So be careful not to mistaken the two as the one used now is make up (adornment) that must be hidden.
