Ahsan Allahu ilaykum: If a person delayed his fajr/zuhr/maghrib salah until there was 1-2 min left (out of laziness or negligence or distraction) and managed to pray 1 rak'ah- did he catch the salah? And at what point would it be valid? once he got up from sujud from 2nd rak'ah, or earlier?

Muslims should fear Allah in their salah. Is this the salah you want to meet Allah with, on the day where there is no escape and you have no chance of repenting? Out of laziness I pray 1 minute before the time is over, and who said that the apps are accurate to the minute. We should fear Allah regarding our salah and not delay it even for 10 minutes, so that we do not fall into such dangerous behaviour.
