اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ I have a question regarding adornment for a wife. Is it permissible for a wife to wear false eyelashes made entirely from synthetic materials (not human hair or animal hair), solely to beautify herself for her husband? Jazākumullāhu khayran

Most of the people of knowledge forbid it and count it as wasl, and its being synthetic rather than hair does not take it out of that. Imam Ibn Baz was more reserved and said the clearest to him is that this should be left, as there is no need for it.
