What is the response to the claim that Asharis/Maturidis are the majority and therefore the Jama’a in the term Ahlul sunna wal jama’a, and that salafis reject the majority of classical scholars for the minority such as shaykh al Islam Ibn Taymiyyah?

Then what do they do with this hadeeth Prophet ﷺ said: "The nations were shown to me. I saw a prophet with a small band of people with him, and a prophet with one man and two men with him, and a prophet with no one at all with him."
