أحسن الله إليكم Can you give us many examples on forms of da'wah? (by action/speech, offline/online, family/strangers) I think, for many of us, the concept of da'wah has been constricted to a da'wah stall and debating. أرشدكم الله لطاعته

Ustadh AbdulAziz al-Haqqan
Dawah is wider than a stall and a debate. Imam Ibn Baz explained that the believer first strives with himself, he learns and gains understanding and fiqh, and then he calls to Allah by teaching people, by guiding the one who is ignorant and teaching him and directing him to good, and by enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong. So from its forms: (1) teaching what you have learned, (2) guiding and directing the one who does not know, (3) enjoining the good and forbidding the evil where that is your place, (4) spreading the goodness of the people of knowledge, such as sharing the words and clips of the scholars, (5) the women calling the women, and (6) those closest to you, for the teaching and the guiding are general and are not restricted to strangers. As for the manner, Shaykh Ibn Uthaymin said the people are not upon one single approach. It is wisdom, and good exhortation, and disputing in the way that is best, and firmness where firmness is more beneficial and gentleness where gentleness is more beneficial, and he said use what you see to be the most fitting. And whoever stands publicly to give dawah must be qualified enough to do it, knowledge wise.
