what is a dayooth? Would a person who allows his wife to free mix fall under the category of dayooth or would it only be a man who allows his wife to have intimacy with other men?

The Permanent Committee for Fatwa said: "The dayyooth is the one who approves wickedness among his family," and that it is "everyone who approves wickedness among those he has authority over, such as his wife, his daughter, and his sister and the like, whether the wickedness is fornication or a means to fornication." Shaykh Ibn Uthaymin said: "If he keeps his family while they have no chastity, he has become a dayyooth." Shaykh al Albani said: "The man who has no jealousy over the honour of his family is the dayyooth."
