احسن الله اليكم If I have little time to pray due to work, is it better to pray dhur fard with dropping some sunnahs to be able to also pray rawatib or just pray the fard trying to perfect it and reading little longer surahs

Perfect the obligatory prayer first with calmness, for a short surah after al-Fatihah is enough and a long recitation is not required. The confirmed rawatib are greatly emphasized and the Prophet ﷺ kept them while resident, so preserving them is better than lengthening the recitation of the fard.
