السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ ٱللَّهِ وَبَرَكاتُهُ‎ Ustadh can I make dua against someone who oppressed my friend extremely causing him much pain?

The one who was wronged may supplicate against the one who wronged him, without going beyond the measure of the wrong, for Allah Jalla wa ʿAlā said, the meaning of which is: "Allah does not like the open utterance of evil except by one who has been wronged" (Surah an-Nisa, ayah 148). As for you, supplicate for your friend that Allah relieves him and returns his right, and do not accustom your tongue to cursing, for pardon and patience are greater in reward.
