As-salaamu Alaikum Shaykh How do I advise my husband to seek knowledge and learn the Quran? We are reverts and he still does not know how to read Quran after 5 years. He does the basics of praying (not at the masjid), fasting Ramadan, and has outstanding character alhamdulilah.

May Allah reward you, and may Allah bless your husband for his good character and his practice. Go with him step by step and do not overwhelm him. Encourage him gently and lovingly, help him find an easy teacher or a simple beginners course to learn to read, make dua for him, and share short beneficial lessons and reminders that he enjoys. Praise every bit of progress, for what is taken little by little and with kindness is what lasts, in shaa Allah.
