Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmat Allahi wa Barakatuhu Shk,What is the best way to make dua at salah times? Is it before, during or after the salah and in which position, while sitting for attahiyatu or during sajda or after the fardh after saying salam and then raise hands to make dua? Jazak Allah Khair

The best places to make du'a in the prayer are while you are in sujud, and at the end of the prayer before the salam, in the last tashahhud. In sujud, because the Prophet ﷺ said, the meaning being: "The closest a worshipper is to his Rabb (Lord) is while he is prostrating, so make much du'a" (Muslim), so ask for the good of your religion and your worldly life in your prostration. And before you make the salam, after the tashahhud, choose whatever du'a you love most and supplicate with it.
